I chose to do a wiki on punctuation marks since; I feel that understanding punctuation can have a positive effect on both reading and writing. I think wikis can be a great tool for learning for all ages. I would use a separate wiki for each subject and use them as a means of reviewing what was learned in class. I really like the idea that aside from learning from the wiki, students can also post discussions (unlike the webQuest). Students can state their feelings about the wiki and ask questions to their teacher/classmates. I would use the wiki for both individual and collaborative activities. In general the wiki can be a very helpful tool for encouraging learning in a unique and exciting way.
